    We reserve the right to modify the terms of service ("the Service" at any time, with, or without notice. Typically, you will be notified by email if the terms change, and will be required to agree to modifications of these terms, upon subsequent next login into your account. If, for whatever reason you do not agree to these updated terms and conditions, we will offer you the opportunity delete your data from our platform and cease interacting with us.

    By using our service, you are bound to this binding legal document.     DEFINITIONS:

    I. ("[the] Organization", "We", "Us", "Our") henceforth refers to LYNXCounseling, LLC via LYNXCounseling.com: the platform/website (https://lynxcounseling.com), its counselors (henceforth referred to as "Subsidiaries"), and active partners.

    II. ("Website", "Platform", "[the] Service", "Services") henceforth refers to the collection of services that comprises LYNXCounseling (https://lynxcounseling.com), and the technologies we use to interface/communicate with individuals using our platform to connect with our counselors; or the services offered by, or rendered by us.

    II. ("Client", "Individual", "You") henceforth refers to individual who signs up for our services, through our website for the purpose of using our platform to interface with Our Organization and Services, and receive counsel.

    IV. ("Billing Servicer", "Payment Gateway", "Payments") henceforth refers to interactions with our current payment/billing servicer, stripe.com, on all matters related to collecting billing information and capturing payments for services rendered through our Platform.

    V. ("Treatment") henceforth refers to counseling that is proctored by experienced dual-diagnosis calendars who are licensed nationally by _____ as CAC (Certified Addiction Counselors) counselors, and specifically by individual state. Through the founding state of our organization, the certification is referred to as CADAC via (http://ccapp.us). Our methodology and treatment modalities are sanctioned by these governing bodies and our advice does not constitute (nor replace/act in place of) other diagnoses provided by established medical professionals. "Treatment" simply refers to the proven strategies that are utilized by our experienced counselors.   

    1. WARRANTY: while the Organization prides itself on providing the best possible outcomes and makes every effort to provide tangible benefits to its clients, we do not provide any warranty, guarantees; express, nor implied. You agree to hold LYNXCounseling along with our subsidiaries, will be held harmless (not held liable) in the loss of life/livelihood, relationships, or economic status as a result of undergoing treatment.

    2. PRIVACY/SECURITY: by agreeing to our terms and signing up for a Client account, you agree to hold the Organization harmless, in the event of our Platform being compromised. Reasonable effort is made, as to not expose personally-sensitive information and we hold and treat personally-identifiable information as sacred as our own. We utilize industry-standard encryption, for all aspects of our service. This includes encrypted connections for our video conferencing, SSL connections via our platform (https://lynxcounseling.com), in addition to implementing payment/billing procedures through our experienced payment servicer, stripe.com. With regard to privacy.   

    We want to ensure our platform meets the security needs of both our clients and counselors, as to provide the best experience and safe environment for our treatment paradigms. Additionally, we continually scrutinize and implement strategies to prevent unauthorized access to our account. However, for that reason, we request that you do not store your login information insecurely, or share this information with anyone else - as this may pose a security risk and will not be held liable in the event of a compromised account.

    Finally, in the area of ethics, LYNXCounseling holds ethics to clients and standard of care to be our utmost priority. However, there are certain situations, whereby we are required by law to forfeit these securities. Primarily, in the case that one of our clients poses a risk to themselves, or others, we will be required to report such findings to a governing body. However, we typically seek clarification from the client before pursuing such avenues. The safety our our clients comes first, and ethical privacy is a very close second.   

    3. IDENTITY: when signing up for an account, through our service, you are willingly and knowingly offering up PII (Personal-Identifiable Information) about yourself. It is important that the information you divulge to be ethically accurate, to maximize the benefits of treatment and to provide our client's the best experience possible. When you provide accurate personal, demographic, and geographic information during registration, this information is kept private and never bought, or sold, as per our privacy policy. This information will only be released in the case of emergencies, whereby the client is deemed to be in danger, or in the case of a court-ordered subpoena. Rest assured, we hold your private information as secure as we hold our own and promise to never wittingly use this sensitive information against you.   

    4. ETHICAL CONCERNS: what sets LynxCounseling, LLC apart from our cohorts (other businesses in the rehab field) is our strong ethics and dedication to acting with both transparency and integrity. We always communicate with clients in a respectful and honest way. We do not intentionally hide any information from the client that would render our communications disingenuous. Rather, any issues that arise during the client's therapy are addressed in a way that both maintains client-provider respect, safety, and is maintains the integrity with regard to client's sensitivity. We want to empower our clients through an alliance towards a common-goal and our clients should feel in-safe-hands with our experienced staff.   

    5. BILLING: in the matter of billing, our payment gateway/servicer is stripe.com. You must read and agree to stripe's terms of services, and privacy policies, which are accessed independently from our document.   

    In the matter of LYNXCounseling's individual practices, the client must agree to keep payment information up-to-date and remit payment in-advance, prior to each session. Our platform streamlines this process and makes adding a card to your account, for use for obtaining compensation for services rendered, as easy as possible. By providing us your card, you authorize us to use such billing information to attempt capture and charge for services rendered, in-advance of scheduled sessions. 

    In the case of appointments that are provided 24 hr advanced cancellation notice, we do not offer refunds. Instead, we will credit your account for a future session. The client must accept and agree to these billing practices.   

    6. ACCOUNT: your account for all intents and purposes belongs to our Platform. Therefore, we reserve the right to terminate a Client's account at any time, with (or without) warning.
